The Ray White Group was proud to be involved in a highly successful fund raising effort for the RACQ Careflight Rescue Gala Ball held at Twin Waters Resort on the Sunshine Coast.

The event on Friday, October 30, raised a record net total of $216,995.

The RACQ Careflight Rescue Service is an essential service that can mean the difference between life and death for many living in South East Queensland.

Ray White Commercial North Coast Central played its part in the fund raising event with Managing Director Michael Shadforth donating a guitar signed by his friend singer-songwriter Pete Murray as one of the major auction items.

Veteran Ray White Commercial agent David C Smith and his wife Monica donated a Ray White bike.

Ray White Commercial North Coast Central Marketing and Communications Manager Jennifer Swaine was on the auxiliary for the event and organised donation of auction prizes including a Cozmedics voucher (worth $4,000) and an opal pendant from Opals Down Under (worth $1200).

“Kelsie our beautiful receptionist volunteered together with my daughter Sam to be hostesses and sell raffle tickets on the night,” Jennifer said.

“Not to be outdone, the very handsome and always charming Dan Sowden from Ray White Maroochydore was the auctioneer for all of the major auction items. It was a great team effort from so many in the group.”
