Medieval Magic on The Today Show

The sale of the Sunshine Coast Castle by Ray White Commercial North Coast Central has created a media sensation with the public relations campaign for the Queensland landmark resulting in fantastic coverage on the Nine Network’s Today Show.

Nine reporter Lauren Ellis and her crew spent a day filming at the award winning tourist business in Bli Bli and interviewed Ray White Commercial North Coast Central Managing Director Michael Shadforth, who is marketing the amazing castle along with Damien Poole.

Originally built on a site overlooking the Maroochy River in 1972, the castle is unique in Australia and the southern hemisphere and comes complete with a moat, turrets, towers and a drawbridge.

Michael Shadforth said the castle is situated on a 4,751 sqm block and there is the option to purchase adjoining manager’s and caretaker’s residences for a total land area if 8,242 sqm.

“We have already had a large number of enquiries about the Bli Bli Castle from across Australia and around the world,” he said.

The castle sales campaign has featured in local and national print media as well as the major online news and property websites, while WIN News on the Sunshine Coast were filming on site today. The value of the Today Show story alone has been estimated by a major media monitoring company at $182,000 in advertising space rate.
