Chris Massie & Ashley Rees, with the assistance of Aaron Canavan, have secured an 8 year lease to a Government tenant at a rate that has set a new benchmark for leasing in the Corporate Park estate.
Chris has worked closely with the Department of Public Works throughout his eight years in the Caboolture region to help relocate or expand their different departments and in this instance it was the Rural Fire Brigade that were looking for a new home.
The very specific requirement of secure yard, highway access and relatively high office component provided few suitable options for this tenant.
The stringent compliance requirements of Government tenants such as this further limited the choice, but by working in with a commercially minded owner willing to complete the required works, Chris and Ashley were able to negotiate a lease with terms that met all of the owner’s and tenant’s requirements.
The lease represents a rate per of $216m2 of building area, due to the exclusive use yard area and higher than normal office component.
